Handyman / Home Maintenance Technician – Virginia Beach
HomeSmiles Virginia Beach is hiring experienced residential maintenance, handyman, home inspection, or general contracting professionals. Paid hands-on experience required.

What You’ll Do
- Complete scheduled handyman repairs and preventive home maintenance services
- Perform minor plumbing, electrical, finish carpentry, drywall repair, fixture install, small painting, gutter, dryer vent, pressure washing, soft washing, and window cleaning work
- Troubleshoot common residential issues safely and independently
- Identify safety, code, or maintenance concerns during service visits
- Communicate professionally with homeowners
- Explain findings, recommend solutions, and offer bundled service options
Who You Are
- Experienced in residential maintenance, handyman work, general contracting, inspections, or a related trade
- Minimum of 4 years experience in similar role
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass Background Check
- Comfortable handling multiple service calls per day
- Skilled at explaining repair needs and building trust with customers
- Able to identify upsell opportunities ethically and confidently

Compensation: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
