Technician – Entry-Level Property Maintenance & Exterior Cleaning

As a Lead Property Maintenance Technician, you'll own the quality and success of daily field work in exterior cleaning and preventative home maintenance. You'll lead by example on job sites, coach a Junior Technician, and represent HomeSmiles professionally with every homeowner and property manager you meet.
This is a key early hire for our North San Antonio launch in May 2026. Strong performers have a clear path to broader leadership as the business grows.

Pay & Perks
- $20–$23/hour to for first 90 days.
- $25/hour guaranteed salary after 90 days
- Monthly commission on additional services and self-generated leads
- Bonuses for 5-star Google reviews and referrals
- Company-provided van, tablet, and all equipment
What You'll Do
- Drive to customer locations and manage appointments from start to finish
- Perform hands-on services: power washing, gutter cleaning, window cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, and other preventative maintenance tasks
- Greet homeowners professionally, confirm service details, and obtain signed Terms & Conditions
- Document completed work using a company tablet
- Communicate findings clearly and recommend add-on services
- Coach and support a Junior Technician on-site

What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Hands-on maintenance or trade-related experience preferred
- Willingness to coach and develop a Junior Technician with strong attention to safety, quality, and troubleshooting
- Reliable and punctual with strong time management skills (show up to every appointment on time)
- Professional, customer-first communication with the ability to spot and clearly explain additional homeowner needs when appropriate
- Comfortable working independently in occupied homes in a customer-facing role.
- Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, and in outdoor conditions.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to teach others to use power tools, water-fed poles, squeegee systems, and rotary dryer vent tools. Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
