Technician Job Description

Your primary role will be responding to scheduled appointments and field dispatches to perform property maintenance services such as:

• Gutter cleaning
• Window cleaning
• Dryer vent cleaning
• Pressure washing
• Preventative property maintenance services

Responsibilities

At HomeSmiles DMV, we believe that great technicians create great customer experiences.

Your responsibilities include:

• Meet customers and review services with clear and friendly communication
• Ensure customers sign Terms and Conditions before work begins
• Perform routine property maintenance with attention to detail
• Troubleshoot equipment and service issues when needed
• Maintain proper stock and organization of tools and equipment in your vehicle
• Complete post-job reports using a mobile tablet

NOTE: This role focuses on maintenance services only — you will not repair or modify homeowner property.

Qualifications

We are looking for technicians who take pride in their work and approach every job with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in handyman work or property maintenance preferred
• Ability to travel and adapt to a flexible schedule
• Strong customer-facing communication skills
• Good time management and problem-solving skills
• Physically capable of working with equipment and performing outdoor tasks

Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a strong plus.
