HomeSmiles is hiring a Service Technician/Contractor who wants a hands-on, outdoor job where you’ll learn valuable skills in property maintenance, exterior cleaning, and preventative home care. Whether you're looking for your first field technician position, coming from grounds maintenance, or want to explore a path into the skilled trades, this is the job for you.
We provide all necessary tools and equipment. If you’re mechanically inclined, reliable, and enjoy working outdoors, this role is a great fit.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly pay (most jobs range from $18-30/hour) + bonus opportunity

Day-to-Day Responsibilities – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Meet with homeowners or property managers to confirm service details
- Pressure washing, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, roof cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, other handyman-type work
- Identify equipment issues and troubleshoot hoses, pumps, ladders, and sprayers
- Track and maintain tool inventory and alert team lead when replacements are needed
- This is a non-construction job.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, and in outdoor conditions
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn power tools, water-fed poles, squeegee systems, and rotary dryer vent tools
- Willing to learn how to clean gutters, wash windows, power wash surfaces, and complete all property maintenance services
- Coachable with a strong attention to safety and quality, problem-solving and trouble shooting skills.
- Strong customer service
- Willing to learn and do direct to consumer selling
- Valid driver's license and clean record
