Seeking a social media savvy intern to help amplify our digital marketing and communications strategy

Assist in social media management, engaging with followers and relevant accounts.
Create target lists and grow follower count substantially.
Assist in the creation of compelling and relevant content for various marketing channels, including blog posts, social media posts, newsletters, and more.
Create graphics for social media using Canva.
Comfortable making short form video content
Approximately 5-10 hours per week
Ideal Qualifications:
- Undergraduate/graduate student or recent graduate with knowledge and strong interest in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, film, graphic design or a related field.
- Strong copywriting skills.
- Basic graphic design skills and proficiency in tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite are a plus.
- Enthusiasm for learning and staying up-to-date with trends.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive self-starter attitude, creativity, and a willingness to take on new challenges.
- VCU or University of Richmond Students with knowledge of the area a plus
